On Thursday night, Houston received a rare snowfall, the first since about 2009. Many people in the Houston area had never seen snow like this before and were amazed at the sight. This rare occasion was celebrated by many students Friday morning by going outside to play in the snow. The surprise was a pleasant compliment to the holiday season. Additionally, this excites the idea of the slight chance that we will have a “White Christmas”.
