Welcome back “Once Upon A Time” with its fourth season.

This hit television show features characters only seen in a children’s book or movie, but this show adds a twist. “Once Upon A Time” revolves around all of the storybook character’s remembering who they are and getting home to where they belong. The only problem is that there always seems to be an evil villain clouding their memories and cursing them to stay secluded in an area where they can never escape without consequences. Between a battle of good and evil, in Storybrooke, it’s hard to tell which is which and who is on what side.

In the third season, the show circled around Emma Swan, played by Jennifer Morrison, and the Evil Queen, played by Sara Parilla, in search of their son in Neverland. Peter Pan, played by Robbie Kay, tricks their son into thinking that he could save them all, but in reality, Peter Pan just wanted the boy to sacrifice himself so he could finally have the power to wield magic. Thinking that they defeated the evil Peter Pan, they found a portal home. However, they were wrong to think that they left evil back in Neverland. In reality, they brought evil back with them. Peter Pan was not the only villain in that season. The hit show also brought in the jealous Wicked Witch of the West, played by Rebecca Mader, who turns out to be the Evil Queen’s older sister with a thirst for revenge.

The Evil Queen becomes a reliable ally to Emma Swan, the Wicked Witch is in dire need of care and becomes a protector (which doesn’t last very long), and Emma Swan – the Savior – falls in love with Rumpelstiltskin’s son, an evil flying monkey, and finally, Captain Hook. The series has eye-catching twists and turns that keep the audience interested, so there will never be a dull moment.

From “Snow White” and “The Wizard of Oz” to even “Alice in Wonderland”, creators Adam Harowitz and Edward Kitis have done it again by adding the one and only “Frozen”. The blockbuster movie, directed by CalArts alumni Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, earned the Oscar for Best Animated Film according to the California Institute of the Arts, and the soundtrack hit #1 in just two weeks of release according to Billboard 200.

All of the characters from “Once Upon A Time” are returning, and the new characters, Queen Elsa, played by Georgina Haig, and Princess Anna, played by Elizabeth Lail, are now a major part of the television series. Characters Prince Hans, played by Tyler Jacob Moore, and Kristoff Scott, played by Michael Foster, will also be making an appearance. Beware for a freeze: don’t miss the chance to see the show’s new misunderstood villain in action.

The new season of “Once Upon A Time” will air on ABC on September 28th at 8 p.m. Central.
